Na noite desta quinta-feira (7), aconteceu a premiação do The Game Awards 2023, revelando seus vencedores. E o grande vencedor de “Jogo do Ano” foi Baldur’s Gate 3.
Das oito indicações, Baldur’s Gate 3 também levou em “Melhor Atuação”, “Melhor Suporte à Comunidade”, “Melhor RPG” e “Melhor Multiplayer – by Discord”. Alan Wake 2, um dos grandes favoritos, levou em “Melhor Direção”, “Melhor Narrativa” e “Melhor Direção de Arte”. Com um ano bem disputado, Resident Evil 4 e Spider-Man 2 não ganharam em nenhuma categoria.
Apesar de estar concorrendo em mais de 10 categorias, a Nintendo ganhou com The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom em “Melhor Ação e Aventura”, Super Mario Bros. Wonder em “Melhor Jogo para Família” e Pikmin 4 em “Melhor Jogo de Estratégia”.
Na categoria de “Melhor Adaptação”, o The Game Awards premiou a série The Last of Us, produzida entre a PlayStation Productions e HBO. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, da Square Enix, ganhou na categoria de “Jogo Mais Esperado”, enquanto Cyberpunk 2077, da CD Projekt Red, surpreendeu levando na categoria de “Melhor Jogo Continuado”.
